The Poem in the Sky

I awoke, went out to my deck and slowly sipped my java.

I inhaled with intention the brand new day and gave thanks for it.

I counted my blessings and asked to hear Him speak.

He spoke to  me in the wind, and spoke to me when I looked to the sky.

"I love you as you are
You don't have to travel far

I am with you always
I have numbered your days

Make time your friend
I will be with you to the end

I love you for your heart
I will never part

I am here for you til the end of the age
Today is a day for you to start a new page

In the book of your life
Get rid of all strife

Cease striving and know that I am near
I will always be here
for you, my precious one
Don't ever forget me, the Father-the Son

I have seen your pain
I love you just the same

I behold you now
I behold you with eyes of love
